Would you like to know how to identify, and safely respond to a person who is suicidal? Would you like to know how to work with that person to support their immediate safety? If so, this is the course for you!
ASIST is the world’s leading course in suicide intervention. The skills taught in this course can be learnt by almost anyone. So long as you’re 18+ you have a genuine desire to help other people, and you care, then you have all of the requirements necessary. You do NOT need a health background or any prior experience.
This course is suitable for - Community, parents and family, friends, sports groups, community groups, hairdressers, bartenders, teachers, service providers, bankers, accountants, paramedics, nurses, fire and rescue, counsellors, social workers, psychologists, and anyone who wants to learn specific suicide first aid skills in a safe environment with 2 highly skilled facilitators with lived experience of suicide.
