About
It’s been two years since the last fair, 2020 was called off due to COVID, and this year it’s all about meeting the amazing makers of original gifts born in a time of isolation and long days at home.
It seems the creative bug got into people during the lockdown period and there are several new stalls to appear. Assassins Designs is a home upholstery business that makes colourful cushions for kids, yoga and dogs. Willow and Mill is an online homewares store based in Willow Tree that sources homewares from Morocco. Thunderbolt Balms makes slick beard balms and oils from scratch in their Uralla home. Highland Weave makes wall hangings from macrame. Wick and Wax hand pours her fragrant candles in Tamworth, and Frankly My Darling is a newly created homewares store in Gunnedah run by two busy mums.
Also appearing are the regular stalls offering fashion clothing, classic jewellery, unique homewares, ceramics, garden sculpture, olives and jams, kids’ clothing, home made cakes by the Brain Foundation committee, Christmas puddings and the amazing raffle.
There is all day food and coffee, with Mak’s Turkish Gozleme, the Lions Club BBQ, fruit salad, icecream and, new this year, the School Bus Diner.
The children will love a pony ride from Moo Gully Ponies, and everyone enjoys listening to live music with Uptown Groove and, new this year, young Fred Bare on guitar!
