From Flamenco to North African & Middle-Eastern roots, Jewish Klezmer to gypsy flavours via Balkan routes, Celtic travels & beyond, audiences are treated to an evening of refined globetrotting musical flair.
Crossing Continents in Concert at the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music brings together four creative Australian musicians, all with strong connections to different parts of the globe. Maryanne Piper (Clarinets/Soprano Sax/Whistles), Daniel Weltlinger (Violin), Daniel Pliner (Piano/Keys) & Damian Wright (Flamenco Guitar) share with you their stories of continent crossing, ancestry, family lineage as told through the music of the people.
