Tamworth Birdwatchers July Meeting

Guest speaker is Adam Fawcett, Senior Project Officer for Save Our Species with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. He will be speaking on the Save Our Species project and specifically on the Glossy Black Cockatoo project, sharing information on correct identification and survey work in the Pilliga.

Tamworth Birdwatchers July FIELD TRIP
Saturday 27th July, 9am
This field trip will take the group out to the Chaffey Dam foreshores and to the Bowling Alley Point Cemetary Reserve. A range of woodland and water birds are expected to be seen, and despite the dry conditions Chaffey Dam will be a real magnet for all types of birds.
New members are most welcome, the field trip will leave at 9am behind the Community Centre in Darling Street. Please arrive early for carpooling purposes, bring binoculars and bring your food for the day.
