His other passengers, a 34-year-old woman, two boys (aged nine and 12) and a two-year-old girl were also taken to hospital, where they were treated for fractures, abrasions and stomach injuries.

A Crash Investigations Unit have been examining the vehicles involved in the accident as well as the scene for the past 3 days.

The 42 year old man was arrested and charged with 10 charges including two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death, four counts of misconduct in charge of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm and not keeping left of the dividing line.
