Three men have been arrested and charged after police located $80,000 in cash and $55,000 worth of illegal drugs during coordinated raids this week.
Oxley Police worked in coordination with Central Coast Police to disrupt and dismantle an organised drug supply network between Tamworth and the Central Coast.
At 7:30 am on Wednesday 2 December Oxley Police stopped a vehicle in Willow Tree and arrested a 51-year-old man after allegedly finding 112g of methylamphetamine.
During raids on homes in Fitzroy Street at Barraba, Rowan Street at Manilla and Maxwell Street Tamworth police seized more than $80,000 in cash and further prohibited drugs.
A 46-year-old man was arrested in Barraba and charged with multiple drug supply-related offences.
Both men faced Tamworth Local Court on Thursday 3rd December and were formally refused bail by the Magistrate.
They face up to 20 years or life in prison for the commercial supply of prohibited drugs.
The coordinating police working on the Central Coast carried out three search warrants on properties in Wyong which resulted in the seizure of an unregistered pistol, more than $25,000 in cash and 20 g of meth.
The joint investigation is still continuing.
