2,430 cases of COVID-19 were recorded by Hunter New England Health in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. Breakdown for the region is as follows:

• Tamworth records 254

• Armidale records 46

• Gunnedah records 60

• Liverpool Plains records 25

• Walcha record 7

99 active hospitalizations were recorded in the district as well as 11 in ICU.

2 deaths were recorded in the district.
