Forum 6 Cinemas opens candy bar for at-home movie nights

Updated: Oct 19, 2020

Yet another Tamworth business has found a way to adapt to the current economic climate under the coronavirus pandemic. Forum 6 Cinemas have been shut for weeks since the introduction of the public health orders banning gatherings, but they are opening the candy bar for at-home movie nights. Grant Lee manager of the complex said while people can't see new releases on the big screen, they will be able to get popcorn, choc-tops and another favourite treats from the candy bar. "Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we are going to open from 12.30pm to 6.30pm," he said. "I know a lot of movie nights at home because that is all we can do, so now we will supply those movie treats. "We decided to do it because we wanted to find a way to be open for business somehow." Mr Lee said it had been a tough time, and he misses the work, but he knows it was a necessary step to take. He encouraged residents to come down and stock up for their at-home movie nights.
