Four guns stolen from home in Oxley Vale


An investigation has commenced after a safe with four guns was stolen during a break-in at a home near Tamworth.


Sometime between 6.30pm on Monday and 7pm on Tuesday, a home in Oxley Vale, was broken into while the occupants were not home.


A Marlin bolt-action rifle, Rossi rifle, Savage rifle and a Stoeger rifle were stolen from an approved firearm safe located at the property.


The theft was reported to officers at the Oxley Police District and an investigation has commenced.
