The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is calling on young people aged 12-24 to have their say in the 2023 Youth Week activities.
Youth Week will be back on 20 to 30 April and as an event organised for young people, by young people, it is an opportunity for young people to share ideas, showcase their
talents, celebrate, and most importantly – have fun.
Young people are involved in all aspects of Youth Week, including planning, development, and management of activities.
Liverpool Plains Shire Council wants to hear from young people in the shire about the
activities they would like included in the program and from those interested in being involved in bringing the events to life.
Two planning sessions have been scheduled for young people to attend, either online or in person.
13 February at 6 pm – online and in person at Quirindi Library Precinct Community Hub.
17 February at 3:30 pm – in person at Quirindi Library Precinct Community Hub.
Those wishing to register for the online event should contact Sarah at 0498 553 186 or visit Quirindi or Werris Creek library for more details.
Youth Week is about celebrating the achievements of young people and is happening this year April 20-30.
