It could have been a cat-astraphe without South Tamworth Fire crew

A group of kittens have been rescued from a ceiling cavity by South Tamworth Fire Crew.

Around 9:30 this morning Fire and Rescue teams attended a building on Peel Street and heard kittens meowing from inside the roof.

The crew got to work gaining access to the concealed ceiling cavity and quickly rescued the three kittens.

Fortunatly all the kittens were uninjured and have been returned to their owner in good health.

South Tamworth Fire crew have form in this area after saving a kitten from a similar situation only one month ago.

We thank them for their professional approach to all the dangerous and cute situations they find themselves.
