Officers from the Oxley Police District were patrolling in Quirindi, when they stopped and spoke to a 27 year old man on George Street around 5pm.
The man did not have any purpose for being out and during a search, police located cannabis and drug paraphernalia. He was advised he would be issued a court attendance notice in relation to the seized items and after checks revealed he had previous received numerous COVID Related warning.
He was issued with a $1000 PIN – Personal Infringement Notice, and given a move-on direction. The man was then located 90 minutes later hanging around the same area and given another warning and another move on direction.
