22 pallets adding up to 30,000 bottles of water has been donated to the Murrurundi community by Rural Aid and Aqua Infinity.
It was welcomed news by the town which is currently under level 6 Water Restrictions and has been on low water reserves since late last year.
Co-Founder for Doing it for our Farmers Sue-Ellen Wilkin says the donated water is for the whole community.
"This water isn't just going to the farmers this time." Mrs Wilkin said.
"We've decided to help the more vulnerable people and have sent it down to Murrurundi for the nursing home, hospital and school, if they need it, they can collect it from the town's Food Panty."
Locals can pick the water up from the Doing it for our Farmer’s Pop Up Pantry on 41 Mayne Street between 10.30am and 2.30pm today and tomorrow.
