A special Sportsman's dinner scheduled for the end of this month will be an exclusive chance for locals to hear from players and staff of the NZ Warriors and was confirmed by Club CEO Cameron George to 92.9FM's JB on this morning's Breakfast Show.
Mr George also dropped a few hints of some special guests who may be in attendance at the Friday night event on January 29th.
"We've got Gus Gould and Peter Vlandys is all but certain to come, he's a great get for us," Mr George said, "Our captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Nathan Brown and a player at each table."
The evening hosted by Wests will raise money for local rugby league clubs and Mr George said it's important for the bigger clubs in the NRL to give back to the game.
Mr George hinted at other community events to be scheduled over the coming weeks including possible training nights.
"We don't forget what the community of Tamworth have done for our club," Mr George said, "We are forever indebted to Tamworth, hence why we carried the postcode on our jerseys last year, and this year we want to let Tamworth know you're a huge part of our club again."
