The man has been found safe by police, who thanked the public for their assistance.
EARLIER:
Police are seeking assistance to locate a missing Tamworth man, as they have serious concerns for his welfare.
John Nash, 54, was last seen on Tuesday morning.
He may be driving a maroon coloured Diahatsu Terrios with a silver-coloured bonnet.
Police said it is out of character for Mr Nash to lose contact with family and friends and officers share concerns with his family.
He is described as having a Caucasian appearance, with salt and pepper coloured hair, and a medium build.
