Judging for the 2023 Quality Business Awards has wrapped up and the finalists have been decided, with a mix of over 220 businesses and individuals announced across 29 categories.
Tamworth Business Chamber President, Matthew Sweeney, says the high calibre of nominated businesses made for a challenging judging process that came down to the finest of details.
“The Chamber congratulates all of the incredible businesses that were selected as 2023 Quality Business Award finalists, and we wish them the best of luck at the gala awards night,” Mr Sweeney said.
“It’s been another challenging year for the region’s business community with inflation increasing the pressure on consumers and impacting spending, and we’re proud to be part of such a robust community of high-quality local businesses.”
Of the businesses that were announced as finalists, 29 will take home the title of winners of the 2023 Quality Business Awards at the gala awards night on Friday 8 September.
Tamworth Region Mayor Russell Webb congratulated the finalists on their achievement.
“It’s important for Council to sponsor these awards which acknowledge the heights of excellence our local business community achieves,” he said.
“A progressive and vibrant business sector is essential to keep our region’s economy strong.”
