Innocent Eyes

Innocent Eyes (2003)

Goodrem has stated the song is one of her favourite tracks on the Innocent Eyes album and that its lyrics are autobiographical, and is dedicated to her family. The song became her third number-one single in Australia and also peaked in the top twenty in the United Kingdom and New Zealand. She also performed the song on an episode of Australian soap opera Neighbours where she had a starring role as Nina Tucker.

Sitting On Top Of The World

Child of the Universe (2012)

The release of "Sitting on Top of the World" was much anticipated. This was mostly due to the four years since Goodrem's last solo single, "I Can't Break It to My Heart" (2008). "Sitting on Top of the World" is about Goodrem "feeling like herself" again and feeling connected to the world through music/friendship.

Almost Here

Mistaken Identity (2005)

"Almost Here" was released as a single in Europe on 31 January 2005 and in Australia on 4 March 2005. The duet reached number one in both singers' home countries and charted within the top three in Denmark, Norway, and the United Kingdom. The song is considered pop, having an influence of folk music. The song is a duet and it features an antiphon. The recording has an emphasis on the instrumental arranging, which is backed up by a string section.

Not Me Not I

Innocent Eyes (2003)

The song peaked at number-one in the Australian Singles Chart, making Goodrem's fourth number-one single, breaking Kylie Minogue's record of having the most songs released from an album to reach number-one. This single is a love song, which talks about her pain at losing her first love. There has been speculation she is singing about her ex-boyfriend and fellow Neighbours star, Blair McDonough.

Out Of The Blue

Mistaken Identity (2004)

Goodrem says the song is "being about times when someone comes into your life unexpectedly, and what a positive effect that can have on you" being about her then boyfriend Mark Philippoussis and the support he gave her. When the relationship ended Goodrem states she found a new meaning for the song.

Wings

Wings of the Wild (2015)

"Wings" is a #1 song by Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem, released as the lead single from her fifth studio album Wings of the Wild. It was written by Goodrem with Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci, the song's producers known as DNA Songs. "Wings" debuted at number eight on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart, peaking at number one in its third week on the chart, becoming her ninth number-one in the country and her first in eight years.

Innocent Eyes (2003)

Released in the last quarter of 2003, the single peaked at number-one on the Australian ARIA Charts, becoming Goodrem's fifth number-one single in Australia. This achievement broke the record set by Goodrem for the most consecutive number-ones from a debut album; the original record was held by Kylie Minogue. Due to Goodrem's cancer treatment, she was unable to shoot an accompanying film clip.

In This Life

Delta (2007)

This was written by Goodrem together with Brian McFadden. This song about celebrating a new lease on life was penned after a difficult two years for Delta Goodrem, who had had to deal with a recovery from cancer, her parents' divorce and malicious reports in newspapers about her relationship with McFadden. In a Q&A on her website, Goodrem said this song is about "the journey you go on in this life and accepting what life throws at you and growing from the experience and concentrating on the positives in life."

Lost Without You

Innocent Eyes (2003)

It was released as the album's second single on 3 March 2003 in Australia and in the middle of 2003 for the rest of the world. The song became Goodrem's second number-one single in Australia and also peaked in the top ten in New Zealand, the UK and Sweden. Goodrem re-mixed and recorded the song for the United States and the song was released there on 28 June 2005 as a digital download.

Innocent Eyes (2002)

Delta Goodrem performed this song as character Nina Tucker in the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours. The song eventually reached #1 on the ARIA singles charts. Commercially, the song was successful and has been known as Goodrem's signature song. The song debuted at number three on the Australian Singles Chart, and eventually peaked at number one for a sole week. The song spent a total of twenty-two weeks in the charts and was certified triple-platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), selling over 220,114 copies in that country.
