Witness the action of Noah's Farm Thoroughbred Pig Racing this June at The Pub and help raise funds for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter!



Manilla Vintage Machinery Rally

Saturday June 12 & Sunday June 13


We had to give it a miss last year, but the old machinery enthusiasts are back in action!


Manilla Vintage Machinery Rally, Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13, at the Manilla showground.


Street parade Saturday morning, along with a swap meet, demonstrations of working engines, and lots of interesting old machines and vehicles.


Quirindi Quota Markets

Satruday June 12 from 8:30am until 12:30pm


Get along to Rose Lee Park at Quirindi on Saturday morning from 8:30am for the Quota Markets. With Fresh Produce, arts and crafts, local honey, cakes and lots more! For more infomation contact Mary Roberts on 0400 339 127


A Day at Kurrumbede

Saturday June 12 from 10am until 3pm


For the first time ever, Kurrumbede, the property famously owned by the family of Australian poet Dorothea Mackellar, will be open to the general public.


Entry is free, with plenty of exciting activities on offer including:

  • Live music

  • Guided tours

  • Stilt-walking

  • Sulky rides

  • Shearing demonstrations

  • Photo booth

  • Prizes for best Edwardian costume

  • Poetry recitals

  • Food stalls, including BBQ, sandwiches, coffee van, sweet treats, plus more!

You are welcome to bring a chair and picnic rug together with a picnic basket if you wish.

Tamworth Games Night

Saturday June 12 at 6pm


Tamworth Games Club meet fortnightly at the Tamworth Community College to enjoy a night of Dungeons and Dragons, mixed wargames and other table top games.


There is a $5 door charge to cover venue hire, but first-timers can come along for free.



Impermanence from the Sydney Dance Company

Saturday June 12 at 8pm


A visceral and thrilling exploration of the juxtaposition of beauty and devastation, Sydney Dance Company’s full-length work, Impermanence is Rafael Bonachela’s newest creation. With live music by the Australian String Quartet.




Camp Oven Cook Off

Saturday June 12 from 12pm


This annual event is hosted by the Somerton Fishing Club and is one not to be missed! With free camping, live music, great company and amazing food to be had! It's on at the Somerton Pub from 12noon with judging commencing from 6pm. Dinner will be served after judging is completed.




Walk N Talk For Life

Sunday June 13 from 10am


The Tamworth Walk 'n' Talk for Life group meet on the second Sunday of every month to walk and talk about life’s trials & tribulations taking in the picturesque Riverside Walk with a BBQ held afterwards. Isobelle Knight @ The Welders Dog

Isobel Knight and her band take to the Welder's Dog stage to celebrate the release of her sophomore album "Here Now"; a country/folk/rock journey through love, change, and our ability to start again whenever. Find the Welders Dog on Dowe Street with Isobel Knight taking the stage from 5pm.




The Dressmakers Costume Exhibition

Across The Long Weekend


Original costumes from the hit Australian film The Dressmaker will be on display as part of a touring exhibition. Tamworth is the exhibition's only New South Wales stop of the tour so don't miss it!
