Applications are now open to volunteer at the 2022 mega event in Tamworth as a ‘Festival Ambassador’. This volunteer position is essential to the festival experience, providing both visitors and locals with critical information such as directions, advice, and assistance.
Tamworth Regional Council Coordinator Volunteer Service, Eleze Drew said that it is a great opportunity to be part of an iconic event and meet new people.
“This is a great opportunity for experienced volunteers and for new volunteers, particularly school leavers who could gain valuable experience and add this to their resumes.
“The Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth is Australia’s largest music festival and is celebrating a significant milestone which makes it extra special,” said Ms Drew.
Ambassadors will work in teams of two or three, for shifts of up to 4 hours. The shifts are available across four different venues including the Tamworth Visitor Information Centre, Peel Street, Festival HQ at Ray Walsh House and Bicentennial Park.

People under the age of 18 can apply and will be partnered up with ambassadors over the age of 18.
