The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called out to Dangerleigh near Armidale late yesterday afternoon following reports that a man had been kicked in the head by a horse .
A 55 year-old male was treated at the scene by the aircraft’s paramedics and doctor.
The man sustained head and back injuries in the incident and was transported to the Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital in a stable condition.
