Don't miss Tamworth's Craft Shed Christmas Markets this Saturday!
A big family fun event inside and outside the Shed! From many well stocked stalls outside the shed with goodies galore you'll be sure to find the right Christmas gift! Inside the Shed there will be family workshops including Trim a Tree or make your own Christmas card as well as music by the "Pups" Ukelale Band!
There will also be raffles as well as free gifts under the tree for everyone! Breakfast will be available from the cafe with yummy homestyle refreshments!

Live Dairy Milk Demonstration at
The North Store
As one of our valued local suppliers, Peel Valley Milk will be showcasing their dairy cows that produce the white gold that goes into our coffees, cereals & milkshakes.
There will be detailed milking demonstrations performed by local producer Todd Wilson. Starting at 9am on Saturday, this will be great opportunity for locals to see how it's done.

Kootingal Carols on the Oval
Kootingal Carols on the Oval are on this Saturday!
Bring a rug or chair to join our carol singers and visit our stalls.
Enjoy the kid’s activities and great food vendors and picnic on the oval to begin celebrating the Christmas season with family and friends.
Stalls start from 6pm as well as jumping castles, climbing wall, balloons and more for the children! From 8pm the Carols featuring Kootingal's Allison Forbes and local school will start.
There will also be a special visit from Santa!

Walk 'N' Talk Tamworth
Our next walk is coming up this Sunday!
We want to bring people together in a relaxed way to walk and talk about anything!
We meet at the yellow Walk ‘N’ Talk marquee which will be located on the Bicentennial Park side of the ‘Tamworth Regional Playground'. You will get a warm friendly welcome and a free tshirt. Then we’ll do the easy ‘Peel River Walk’ starting from the yellow Walk ‘N’ Talk marquee.
There will be a complimentary BBQ after the walk, but don’t forget your water bottles and to slip slop slap!

Carols in the Park
The night kicks off at 6:30pm with entertainment from the Tamworth Brass Band and the Tamworth Highlands Society Pipe Band, food stalls and family fun activities.
Carols begin on stage at 7:30pm and finish with a spectacular firework display. Performed by local musicians with all the favourite Christmas classics and a special segment for children.

Tamworth City Dance Academy will be celebrating their memorable milestone of a decade of dance in Tamworth!
Performed by over 400 students from TCDA’s Tamworth and Quirindi studios aged from 3 to adult, audiences will also be treated to special appearances from some of TCDA’s former stars in this entertaining dance spectacular.

The Salvation Army Christmas
Drought Run & Family Fun Day
The Tamworth Branch of the Ulysses Club is proud to hold The Salvation Army Christmas Drought Run (formally Toy Run), now running for over 20 years! Through the kind assistance of motorcycle riders, it has donated many presents and money to those less fortunate in the community.
All community members are invited to come along to Victoria Park from 11am to 2pm for train rides, jumping castle raffles and sausage sizzle! Train rides will be a gold coin donation and enclosed shoes must be worn.
For those who wish to take part in the Drought Run, motorcyclists will be meeting from 8.30am at The Salvation Army Hall on Goonoo Goonoo Road to start the day with bacon and egg rolls for breakfast! They will then depart from 9.30am on a one and a half hours ride and will finish up at Victoria Park at approx 11am to join in on the fun!
