South Tamworth fire crews had a busy night attending a house fire that caught alight just before 10:30 pm, Tuesday 6th October.
The house on Anthony Road, South Tamworth was billowing smoke, with flames escaping the house when crews arrived.
Crews donned breathing apparatuses and got to work battling the flames from both inside and outside the house.
Fortunately, no one was injured however the house has been severely damaged by the fire that ravaged the inside.
Officers from Oxley Police District also attended the scene and have begun investigations into the cause of the fire.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward by contacting Crimestoppers or Tamworth Police Station.
